Representative Hornstein received his B.A. in Environmental Studies from Macalester College and then went on to earn his M.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy from Tufts University. He lives with his wife in Minneapolis; he has three children. His policy focuses on supporting urban agriculture initiatives, passing universal background checks for those looking to buy a firearm, and advocating for stronger hate crimes legislation. Frank is a leading human rights advocate in the legislature and works to craft bills that will reduce disparities in our communities.
