Representative Mary Murphy
Mary graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth with a B.A. in History in 1961. She later attended graduate school at Indiana University, at Macalester College, at American University, at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and at the University of Minnesota in Duluth. Representative Murphy's legislative priorites include labor and union advocacy, women’s economic issues, health care, and criminal justice. She lives in Hermantown, where she grew up, and is still active in historical preservation.
