Representative Flanagan graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in American Indian Studies and Child Psychology. She leads the Subcommittee on Child Care Access and Affordability and helped form the POCI (People of Color and Indigenous) Caucus. A citizen of the White Earth Nation of Ojibwe, Peggy lives in the Bronx Park neighborhood of St. Louis Park with her husband and daughter.
