Victories in Virginia, Alabama highlight Democratic Momentum
Voters in Virginia, New Jersey, and Washington state sent a strong message to President Trump and his Republican allies in November. That message ushered Democrats into office up and down the ticket, forcing many entrenched Republicans out of office. Now, Democrats control the entire state governments of New Jersey and Washington, and have picked up at least 15 seats in the Virginia House of Delegates. Just last week, Republican Roy Moore lost his Alabama Senate election in what is considered a "safe" red seat.
These victories prove that with hardworking candidates and a strong campaign, winning the Minnesota House is possible in 2018. Voters are rejecting the divisive and hurtful agenda of Donald Trump and the Republican Party in favor of an inclusive agenda to benefit everyone.
Momentum is building and we're ready to win.
