At the start of the 2010 legislative session, we outlined our key priorities to put more Minnesotans back to work, helping small businesses by fostering a climate of job growth, ensuring students get a high quality education and holding government accountable to the people of Minnesota.

At the end of the 2010 legislative session, we accomplished these goals.  We put thousands of Minnesotans back to work, we balanced a budget and developed tax credits to help small businesses grow.  Most importantly, we stood up to Governor Pawlenty by fighting against his go-it-alone strategy of unilateral budget unallotments.

Our budget solutions will protect classrooms over the long term, make government more accountable to the people of Minnesota and put more Minnesotans back to work.
